Radius Authentication with active directory

    I ahve Aruba 7200 controller and AP175.I want to authenticate user using active directory.User should not be authenticated certificate based.I want to use server 2008 as the radius server.What shall I do

    Not sure if you are trying to configure Layer 2 authentication 802.1x authentication. If you just want to use username /password for user authentication and just the server validation however no certiticate check on client. you can choose the eap-type as eap-peap/mscahpv2.

    Dear Sir,

     

    Thanks for your reply.Let me just summarize.Inorder to authenticate user using active directory and without installing certificate on clients computer we will use  either EAP-PEAP or MSCHAP-V2.We will use Windows NPS  ,is it okay.
