    Samsung Galaxy S4 not getting new DHCP address if user disconnects from the Aruba wifi. Open network onto captive portal. initial connection works fine, then user disconnects. subsequent connections never obtains a new DHCP address. user session still shows on main controller and captive portal controller (main local controller managems APs and routes guests to captive portal to second controller in DMZ).

    client device fails to get ip, and sometimes reports 'user authentication error'  - even though it is an open ssid.

    anybody seen this behavior?

    i thought about that and already verified DHCP is allowed on post-auth acls.   I will do so dhcp debugging and post.

    btw, i see several log entries containing the following snippet - are these 'standard' dhcp error labels? or do they indicate someting specific:

    ....dhcpdwrap[1605]: <202086> <INFO> <MyController xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>  netlink_arp_changed()....
