Switch between users abnormal behavior in authentication

Hi

When an authenticated user through CPPM press "switch-user" in the PC shutdown options, then the PC will authenticate again "machine and user auth" so the PC port will be assigned to the quarantine-VLAN for a while then again to the data-VLAN after user logs in again.

As a result the original user opened sessions will be disconnected.

So is this a normal behaviour, that authentication will be repeated when doing switch user? and how we can keep the original user opened sessions?

Thanks

Mahmoud

Re: Switch between users abnormal behavior in authentication

Is this wired or wireless authentication?

Yes that's normal. You'd have to do machine only authentication if you don't want it to change.
