TACACS request from unknown NAD=192.168.0.1

    Please help as TACACS is not working on ClearPass Policy Manager 6.6.7.96909, on event viewer I am seeing TACACS request from unknown NAD=192.168.0.1.

    On the Cisco switch after entering the username and password I will get TACACS authentication failed message below:

     

    Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
    Password:
    Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
    Tacacs authentication failed
    Access denied

    Sounds like you haven’t defined the switch as a NAD in ClearPass.
