Updating clearpass device list

    I hve 2 clearpass clusters, one is a production one, one is development ish ... te dev cluster servcies our building so I can test new changes before pushing them out to the production cluster. 

     

    We've been moving loads of switches over to clearpass from FreeRadius so the number of devices known about on the production cluster is ~933. On the dev cluster its 625

     

    I've tried to export device list from produciton cluster and import onto dev cluster. Of course it fails because you're trying to import devices already known about on the dev cluster. 

    Do I have to do some horrible difff on the device xml file to import it? 

     

    Could we have an import and overwrite option ?

    Please work with your Aruba account team to submit a feature request.

    In the near term, you could use a basic script with the REST API to do this as well.
