VIA Mac client disconnects when display sleeps

    I'm having a strange issue with VIA 2.0 client for Mac. I've set up IKE v1 tunnel and I can connect to it with Win and Mac client. However on Mac OSX 10.8 when the display sleeps VIA disconnects. The Mac is still powered on and has network connectivity to it's local lan. Any ideas what can cause this behavior.

    I have used it in the past and it stays connected for me.  Can you try another MAC?  What OS version are you running?

    I tried with another Mac with same results. OSX version is 10.8.4 (also tried 10.8.5). VIA version is 2.0.0.1.37781. In diagnostics screen in VIA I can see the disconnect and connect events. So it seems like it's doing this on purpose for some reason.
