Visual RF; maintaining image resolution during import

    Trying to find out what Visual RF does to imported PDFs (in terms of degrading / shrinking / reducing quality) and I don't see much information in the manual.

     

    It seems to be automatically throwing away some data; 1 file went from 120 dpi to 96 dpi. Also seems to guess wrong about color (wants to classify grayscale as color, not b&w)

     

    I'd like to know if there's anywhere in the app I can control such things.

    Unfortuantely, there is no place that I'm aware of to control the import massaging done on the file types.

    I convert the PDFs to BMP in an image editor and end up with higher quality Visual RF maps.  Hope this helps...
