    Hi

Has anyone else tried to configure CPPM with Wavelink Avalanche as an Authentication Source?

So you don’t want to do user authentication, you just want to see if the device is enrolled in Avalanche?

    Hi Cappalli

Yes. Spot on. I want to check that this device is definitely one of ours as part of the role assignment. Then we'll use this in the assignment of the enforcement policy. we've done similar by checking workstation objects in AD and I was wondering if anyone has got some tips for Avalanche.

    Two questions:

    1.
    Does Avalanche support SQL access?
    2.
Does Avalanche have a web HTTP api?

I'm hoping SQL from what I've managed to find but resources are limited, hence the post.

I'm coming to this thread late, but we're just getting to the concept.

We are combatting "spare" wireless devices being "found" months after they've been deprovisioned - the users then expect them to continue working.

We think we'll query WaveLink/Avalanche to see if the devices is in the management platform prior to letting it on the air.

So far we think it has HTTP and SQL methods, but aren't finding much advice on how to make the query.

Has anyone gotten it working since this thread started?

I'll forge ahead and update the thread with what we learn.
