iPads/iPhones Wi-Fi cannot verify the identy of captiveportal

    We're slowly starting to roll out BYOD but I'm having issues getting apple devices connected. Once I enter my credentials through the clearpass captive portal and select Log In I immediately get a popup stating "Wi-Fi cannot verify the identy of 'captiveportal.ouraddress.com'"


    The certificate is showing up fine on linux, windows and android devices.


    Any input?

    Is it a public certificate, or your own private certificate?  does the FDQN of the certificate resolve to the ip address of the controller on the guest network?
