secure login option in clearpass web login configuration page

    Hi, 

     

    In web login configuration of the clearpass page we have an option "secure login" which has "use vendor default".  

     

    What does the "use vendor default" under the secure login option do?

    Some vendors use HTTPS by default, some use HTTP.

    So if we use this option, whatever the option that is used in controller in captive portal profile (HTTP or HTTPS) that is used by clearpass, am i right?

    It's designed to match the vendor's default. What NAD are you trying to use?

    You shouldn't need to change it then (unless you want HTTP)
