shutdown clear pass

Hi! :smileyvery-happy:

While I read the user guide, I have read that to shut-down the policy manager, I have to do an access with these credentials

Username: poweroff

Password: poweroff

So i wish to know if exist another method and if i can disable the method that i explain to you.

because so if someone can reach my policy manager via ssh can shut-down it.

thanks.

According to the user guide that username and password is only available through the serial console.

Re: shutdown clear pass

cjoseph is right; that logon should not work through SSH.

Other methods:

CLI:

system shutdown

WebUI:

- Administration --> Server Manager -->  Server Configuration --> Shutdown button

cp-shutdown.jpg
