Error message?  What ftp server are you using?  Can you copy anything else to that FTP server?

We don't have any information to help you.

Did the ftp command change in ArubaOS 6.4?  I just noticed our backup script stopped working since it was using the syntax:

copy flash: flashbackup.tar.gz ftp: FTPHOST USER PASS DIRECTORY

and now the PASSWORD must be entered on a separate line

copy flash: flashbackup.tar.gz ftp: FTPHOST USER DIRECTORY

    Password: PASS

Is there a way to get the old behavior?

    85MikeTPI,

We can check on that.  What controller platform are you using?

    85MikeTPI,

Thanks for your patience.  The change was deliberate, because the previous behavior exposed the FTP password on the commandline in the clear.  The new way, it idoes not, and we thought the change was important mainly because of that:  We did not want someone looking over someone else's shoulder and be able to see their FTP password.  We are working to get this change highlighted in the release notes/6.4 documentation so that it is obvious.  Thank you for bringing it up.
