    I have 2 HW-CP I want to deploy the best High availability solution between the 2 servers

    Setup a virtual IP for guest and enable load balancing on your NADs...

    Thanks Tim for your fast answer so on NADs should I add only Virtual IP only or add the two IPs of the two servers?

    Both servers and enable radius load balancing.

    Add each ClearPass server as a RADIUS server..

    Dear tim so thats mean the two servers shall be added so what about teh VIP

     

    for Example:

     

    CP1: 192.168.1.220

    CP2: 192.168.1.221

    VIP: 192.168.1.223

     

    so on NAD I will add CP1 and CP2 IPs and what about the VIP?

    The VIP is used for the guest portal.

    Hi cappalli, what is the problem if i use the ip vip in the nas/nad device?
    could the failover take too long time?
    what is the advantage of have two server in the nas/nad?

    The VIP does not provide load balancing.
