By j.easley posted May 19, 2016 10:50 AM

I would like to announce our new set of Airheads Community Badges. We take pride in our networking community and all of the hard working people that has driven Airheads to what it is today. In an attempt to give back, we created the badge program one year ago. Today we are launching several more categories of badges. To see what badges you have, sign in, click your name in the green nav to the top right and scroll down until you see badges.

Active Member Badges

Our system will calculate how long you have been an active member in our community. The badges go from 1 year to 10 years. Being an active member means you are registered and you have been actively posting, tagging, giving kudos, and so forth. So keep up the good work and you can one day receive the Master of the Order badge for being on our community for 10 years!!

Consecutive Login Badges

Logging into the community and being an active member is great, so we also want to reward those who login consecutively. The badges go from two to 15 consecutive days. So if you are ready to be an Airheads FANATIC, you better get busy!!

Giving Kudos Badges

Our other kudo based badges are for receiving Kudos, so we wanted to engage those and give them incentive to give more and be more active in our community. The more you give, the more badges you will unlock. So get out there and start giving those kudos so maybe soon you could become one of our top givers and receive the Compassionate badge.

For our new members, a Kudo is basically the same as hitting a “like” button on any other social applications. To give a Kudo, simply go to any article you find on our community and if you like the post, go ahead and click the star button.

Sharing Photo Badges

The more photos you upload, the more opportunities you have to get more badges. There are a couple different ways to upload a photo. One way is to reply to a post that you are interested in and upload a photo. When you are at the article click the tab reply. The next screen that appears allows you to post a message. In this screen you can upload a photo by clicking the photo icon above the writing area. Maybe soon you can be a top photo sharer and get the Booster Badge.

Tagging Badges

A tag is a simple way to categories article. Makes it easier to find articles in our search engine. So the more you tag articles, the easier it will be for our community to become closer and easier to search for things you are interested in. It is simple to tag an article. First after you have read it, at the bottom there will be a button that says “Add Tag”. Simply click that link and type in what you think this article is closely related to. Please make sure you use a comma in between each tag. You can soon be Tagerrific!!
