Putting the Customer First Leads to Magic Quadrant Success

As mobile, IoT and cloud disrupt traditional business, Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has been focused on building smarter networks to accelerate the transition. One of our core values is "Customer First, Customer Last" meaning we listen to our customers and actively work to solve their greatest business challenges related to the disruption being caused by mobile, IoT and cloud. By maintaining this as our core value we have focused on innovation and changed the rules of networking.

We are proud to announce that Aruba has once again been placed in the Leader's quadrant in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for the Wired and Wireless LAN Access Infrastructure market, and are pleased to continue to be positioned furthest to the right in the Leaders quadrant for completeness of vision. We believe that being placed in the Leader's quadrant further validates our success in leading with our core values.

Gartner defines a Leader as "a vendor in the leader's quadrant will have demonstrated an ability to fulfill a broad variety of customer requirements through the breadth of its access layer product family. Leaders will have the ability to shape the market and provide complete and differentiating access layer applications, as well as global service and support. Leaders should have demonstrated the ability to maintain strong relationships with their channels and customers, and have no obvious gaps in their portfolios." In our opinion being defined as a Leader amplifies our commitment to delivering end users the best network performance possible.

Magic Quadrant's are important competitive landscape assessments and are some of the most anticipated analyst reports of the year. In fact, several of our competitors issued a press release even though they are not in the Leader's quadrant. What makes a Magic Quadrant unique is that it is derived from an extensive customer-based and vendor-based research process in which Gartner leverages their end-user customer advisory relationships as a key part of the analysis. Ultimately, Gartner's loyalty resides with the end-user, and they take the responsibility of providing an unbiased and accurate view of the market to these customers. Therefore, being named a Leader by Gartner is a significant achievement.

This is now the 11th consecutive year Aruba has been positioned as a “leader” in the market, including the prior Wireless LAN Infrastructure Magic Quadrants. We believe this consistency, unmatched by any other vendor, is proof of Aruba’s vision stability and peace of mind for our customers.

We take great pride in being able to accomplish everything it takes to consistently be a Leader in the market, yet this placement would not have been possible without our customers. This recognition will not cause us to become complacent. Instead, Aruba will continue to innovate and execute our completeness of vision earning the continued trust of our customers as the only Leader with the core value "Customer First, Customer Last."
