"A prerequisite understanding of wireless fundamentals is mandatory"
Is there an assessment for wireless fundamentals somewhere?
Also, the "Introduction to Aruba Technology" (another prerequisite) link:
http://www.arubanetworks.com/support-services/training-top/introduction-to-aruba-technology
just redirects to the Training home page.
Thanks!
There's no assessment for wireless fundamentals. It's the honor system. If in doubt you can watch the fundamentals video.
Sorry about the Intro to Aruba Tech video. That link needs to be removed - we cover it in the class.
The video was a great refresher, guess that answers my question, thanks!
Blirtis,
I also highly recommend you read any of the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) study guides on the market. There are 2 or 3 of them all approved by the CWNP organization that manages that certification.
http://www.amazon.com/CWNA-Certified-Wireless-Administrator-Official/dp/111812779X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365628663&sr=8-1&keywords=cwna
The CWNA books do an excellent job of explaining all the foundational concepts you need for RF, radio operation, and how that rolls up into 802.11.
Thanks, I will definitely get one of these on order.
