Call me vain if required, but it would be nice to have some recognition for skill building in the Aruba product family. I recently got ACMP certified, and would love to have a little badge or something indicating the progress made. Having those little milestones helps reinforce the feeling of completing something challenging, and encourages further study. It's gamification of the certification process to a degree, but I think that could help motivate some.
I am VIA developer works on Mac and Windows OS (i.e. Love both Bill gates and Steve jobs). I read code, take idea from open source projects.
While reading open source projects, I always confuse whether it is correct to take idea from open source project. Moreover there are many open source licenses, judiciary laws, impact on close code systems and "what is correct definition of open source?".
Could you please arrange one comprehensive training over open source?
Thanks and Regards,
I reallly like this and thats how i sell when i have to but i need more practice and more good whiteboarding selling videos would be really nice :)
would be possible? For now there is just one for BYOD which is GREAT! it would be nice having for IAP, CAMPUS WLAN, Airwaves, and you know all the products!
Question regarding Guest design for IAPs.
In a controller environment, a hardened Ethernet port gets directed to a firewall port, or DMZ for guest traffic. Thus, physically separating the guest traffic from the corporate LAN. But with IAP’s/ virtual controllers I don’t have that option.
How do I prevent guest traffic from hitting the LAN, other than using Firewall rules to prevent that specific destination? What’s the best approach?
I plan on studying for the ACMX test and really wished Aruba had a home lab kit for Aruba certified engineers.
I already have a instant AP and would like for Aruba to offer a VM controller/AirWave with a training limitation of 3 AP's and 10 devices that all tie to your certication #. Would be great of configuring policies, testing roaming performance, and configuring templates for instants AP's.
I think that if we could link the accounts and be able to exchange the certifications (have the CWNP cert's saved on Aruba site) would be a good idea. Everything would be managed easier. Cisco and Microsoft do have that enabled on their sites.
Also, added CWNP badges as well.
