ArubaOS authentication fallback
ArubaOS authentication fallback
In this short video we show you the 802.1x authentication fallback mechanism setup on an ArubaOS 16.x switch. When a Radius server is not available, in a standard situation, the client authentication would fail and clients will not have access to the network resources. By configuring a secondary authentication source, setting this to "authorized", a client can still access the network even when the Radius server is not available. This is especially useful in branch environments.
