Alcatel Phone VoiceOverWLan

Hi

i have a problem with Alcatel WLAN Phones.
We have seperate SSIDs (Data, voice etc.)
the Voice SSID is prepared as a Voice SSID (DSCP 46 etc).
The prefered Voice Frequency is the 5 ghz band, but 2,4 is also allowed.
The Security is a WPA2 PSK.
The phone is configured to connect to the Wireless Network.
It ist working correclty: DHCP Request an offer, ping everything ok.
Phone is connected to our telephone system.
After a few moments telephone shows out of order an is not reachable via its telephonnumber anymore.
Ping is still continuing. We are using some meshed APs (mesh also via 5 ghz) in our environment.

Can anybody give me a hint?

Alcatel has detailed integration guides that specify how their WLAN phones should be setup. Did you follow the guide for your phone?

We changed to another version of the alcatel phone an now it is working better.

There is still a problem in calling from wireless phone to wireless phone.
The call is established, but there is silence on both phones.

Any idea?

VOIP phone deployment can be complex. You would probably get this resolved more quickly if you open a case with Alcatel, because you would be able to submit details about your deployment that you cannot put o this forum. It would probably take a long time if we try to guess what your problem is here.
