No Audio over Aruba APs

Hi,

New to the forum,

I am using cisco 7925 units and i can connect to the network fine (IP, Call manager connection etc all OK) but when i make a call the phone rings at both sides but once the call is connected the call has no audio, on both handsets (wireless and fixed). This is the same for Internal and External calls.

Aruba A3600 controller (ArubaOS 5.0.0.1) & AP61's

Thanks

Re: No Audio over Aruba APs

No Audio is usually because you are not permitting the correct traffic. What are the firewall policies for the role the phones get into?

Please send the output of show rights on the commandline.

Re: No Audio over Aruba APs

Please do a "show datapath session table " when on the call to see if any traffic is being dropped or blocked.

Re: No Audio over Aruba APs

Do a "show user" on that controller to make sure the phone is registered there. Please make a note of the user's role and make sure it matches the one you showed me before. After that is done, make a phone call and run that command above to see if you can see any traffic.

Re: No Audio over Aruba APs

That traffic looks like it is being bridged, so to get the datapath info, you would do a "show datapath session ap-name EU-UK-WFH2_SFE table 10.120.71.70" to see the traffic on that RAP. You might want to add an allowall to the end of that voice role just to get it working.
