Voip Limit?

Hi

does anybody know if there is a limitation for connected Wireless phones?
We have a problem in connecting 6 wireless phones in one area.
For its own every phone works correctly.

Re: Voip Limit?

Are you running any other traffic on that WLAN besides phone traffic? What type of VOIP phone is it and what band is it running on? VOIP traffic is very sensitve and if you do not optimize it like in the guide here: http://www.arubanetworks.com/pdf/technology/DG_Roaming.pdf you could have issues.

The phones are running in the 5 ghz band.
There is not much traffic.
I don't know how, but i got 3 phones working.
They are connected, but if call the other phone the call is estqablished but i can't hear anything.

The phones are alcatel wireless phones.

Re: Voip Limit?

What version of code and what type of controller? There is no limit on VOIP calls unless you configured CAC or call admission control.

The Problem was caused by a wrong version on the alcatel phones.
Thanks.
