2920 stack - SFP slots not working

    I have 4x HP/Aruba 2920s configured in a stack using the dedicated stack hardware and cabling. All seems to be working well except for one issue:

    On the first unit which is acting as the "commander", the 4x dual personality ports work for both copper and gbic. On the remaining 3x units in the stack, the gbic slots do not work.

    Inserting a working gbic module into the slot shows no information in the event log - no indication of insertion, failed module, or any entry at all.

    Any idea why the gbic slots aren't working on these other units?  (Slots worked before units were placed in stack.)

    Which software versions the stack is actually running on?

    Can you paste (sanitized) output of show tech transceivers command?

    Stack currently running 

    WB.16.05.0007.

    Xed out the serial numbers.  I don't currently have any gbics installed on the other switches at this moment.  When I do insert a gbic in one of the other units, the LED on the slot doesn't light up (neither green flash when valid gbic inserted or red/orange flashing when faulty / unsupported gbic inserted).

    Hello,

     

    I have setup this topology in lab and it seems to work for me.  I have (4) Aruba 2920 Switches in stack running ArubaOS-Version WB.16.05.0007.  I have inserted the supported 1Gb SFPs to Member 3 and 4, and as you can see below in the 'show interface brief' command output that both ports (3/21 and 4/21).
