Authentication issues with NPS should be independent of what access point you use.  What is the problem?

    Colin,

I agree, I believe updating the ArubaOS from 6.3 to 6.4 may help I don't believe the type of APs is causing any issues we have a mix of 225 and 135 APs. I wanted to make sure that the 135 are compatible with the 6.4 OS. Ths issue we are having is I cannot get any windows 7 or 10 machines to connect to our 802.1x NPS server (Server 2012), termination is on the Aruba controller. MacOSX machines are connecting fine. I read it could be a TLS issue?

    Thanks

I would look into moving the Termination to the NPS server by installing a Server Certificate that your clients trust and disabling termination on the Aruba Controller.  It is possible that your clients do not trust the Certificate on the Aruba Controller.
