Aruba 2930M SFP Port density

    Hi all,

     

    We need Aruba switch with 48 port RJ45 and 6 Port SFP +.

    I have seen specifications of  Aruba 2930M 48G 1-slot Switch.

    in this 44 1 gig RJ45 and 4 SFP Can be used. and there is one Uplink slot. my quetion is can we use those 4 SFP in switch and Aruba 3810M/2930M 4-port 100M/1G/10G SFP+ MACsec Module for additional 4 SFP ports?

    Switch Default SFP = 4

    3810M/2930M 4-port 100M/1G/10G SFP+ MACsec Module = 4

    Totally can we use 8 SFP ports in 2930M switch ?

     

    Kindly help for this.

    Greetings!

     

    The JL083A 4SFP+ module is compatible with the same 1G SFP transceivers as the built-in ports, so you can use up to 8 SFP transceivers in these switches.  (Keep in mind that the built-in ports on the 2930M series are SFP, not SFP+, so you will only be able to use 100M/1G SFP transceivers on these ports.)
