Greetings!
You may have seen a couple of my posts in recent weeks mentioning the Aruba Solution Exchange site, and some of the useful workflows we've posted there -- but let's step back a bit. What is ASE, anyway?
The Aruba Solution Exchange is, as the name implies, a repository where Aruba engineers, partners, and customers can develop and post solutions, which are customizable workflows that simplify the process of configuring Aruba devices and platforms. Each solution can cover anything from a single feature (like, say, SNMPv3) to a full device or platform configuration (like this Aruba Mobility Controller workflow).
ASE utilizes a customized markup language for the workflow engine, which is remarkably easy to learn with the provided tutorials and documentation, as well as Javascript support for powerful validation and derivation functionality. The best part? Anyone can use it -- all you need is your arubanetworks.com username and password (the same one you use to log in here!).
Give the site a try, and if you have any suggestions for new solutions -- or improvements to existing ones -- feel free to post them here!
