HPE/Aruba 2530 with external CaptivePortal/EWA Server

    Hi there,

     

    I have a Aruba 2530 switch with the newest release and I would like to see the external captive portal from Clearpass running for web based auth using wired ports.

     

    The command for the 2530 seems to be:

    aaa port-access web-based ewa-server 10.1.2.3 "/guest/login.php"

    It will end in a loop if I connect to this. Seems that those switches only support html and no php.

    While using a webserver with html, it is working fine. I would like to get this running with Clearpass Guest CaptivePortal

    Any idea how I can get this running with Clearpass, which is php?

    Take a look at the ProCurve / ClearPass TechNote. The redirect URL needs to be sent back from ClearPass.

    The technote isn't listing external captive portal/EWA server. I only find internal captive portal with external authentication
