    Hello,

I have 4 Aruba 3810m with stacking modules each two of them connected in a Stack. They should be the new Core Switches which connects our two Datacenter. Gladly I have enough LWL and SFP+ Moduls to create a LACP trunk with four ports at each end.

I'm not sure how to configure for these ports the spanning tree.

Should I disable spanning tree for this ports and enable spanning tree for the trunk? Or disable spanning tree for the ports and trunk (set to admin-edge-port)?

    Thank you for your advice!

    Best regards,

    Mic

    Hi,

    this will happen automatically.

After assigning ports to trunks they will not be available for spanningtree confioguration. Instead trunk will be available.

Can be proved by issuing "show span". You'll stat state for trunk but not for ports within that trunk.

    Regards, Jö
