A client has two buildings with unused single-mode fiber-optic cabling in between and already terminated in each building. We want to use HPE Simplivity nodes in each building and are wondering if the Aruba 3810M 16SFP+ 2-slot switches (JL075A) equipped with HPE X132 10G SFP+ LC LR Transceivers (J9151A) would be an appropriate choice to support the 5 or 6 VLANs we'll need for the bi-directional traffic between the Simplivity nodes.

    Hi how are you

With this switches you can communicate the HPE Simplivity traffic nodes, without problem that already has good performance, high speed switching fabric and ability to handle high performance.  Respect five or six VLANs you have no restrictions and respect to the connection between both buildings only take care with the distance between boths, because the transceiver that use, the maximum distance is 10Km.

According to what I understand this connection, you will do it in layer 2, so do not need implement protocols like VXLAN for the movement of virtual machines
