Question: WHAT TO DO WHEN A STACKING MEMBER GOES TO DORMANT(V ) STATE?
Use the following command to check the status of the switches.(ArubaStack) #show stacking members Member status: Active, Stack Id: 001a1e087b004fcee152Stack uptime: 5 hours 24 minutes 32 secondsId Role MAC Address Priority State Model Serial-- ---- ----------- -------- ----- ----- ------0 Linecard 001a.1e08.7ac0 128 Dormant [V] ArubaS2500-48T BK00000191 * Primary 001a.1e08.7b00 Preset Active ArubaS2500-48T BK00000162 Linecard 001a.1e08.7b80 Preset Active ArubaS2500-48T BK00000143 Linecard 001a.1e08.7c80 Preset Active ArubaS2500-48T [V] - Version Mismatch- As it clearly explains there is a version mismatch in the stack member. This might happen when you try to do a code upgrade from the primary and one of the stack members did not upgrade to the right code.Solution=======Please upgrade the primary Switch again and try to push it to the line card which should fix the issue.OrUpgrade the partition for the particular member id alone using the following command .Command Eg===========
