Hi, I'm using spa112 adapter to allow some analogue phones to access a voip system. The devices have worked fine on cisco switches but on a 2920 it only seems to want to keep its DHCP IP address for a few hours and then it goes offline.
Ive set it up one a port that is untagged for the voice vlan and initially it works fine, gets an IP, can be setup and the phone works. but after some random period of hours it dropps off and has to be restarted to get back online...
wondering if its something to do with cdp/lldp?
strange when I disable CDP on the spa the device seems to reset within a few minutes and re-enable CDP same if I disable CDP and enable lldp after a while both settings switch back..
any ideas? disabling cdp/lldp on the port help? going to try that next...
Thanks.
