    Hope someone can help.........please.....................

We are trying to stack an Aruba S3500 and a S2500 without traditional stacking fiber cables. We would like to lag or ether channel 2 ports to the switches. DOes anyone have commands to do this. I have tried to re-search it all day and can't find anything without using the fiber cables in the slots......

We are trying to use ports 1 and 2 for the channel between switches.

    Can someone help me please......................

    Wally,

Ports 22/23 and 46/47 are the QA qualified base stack ports for the S2500s and S3500-24P/T or 48P/T. The command to enable stacking on those ports is as follows:

(host) # add stacking interface stack <module/port>

So to enable port 46 or 47 it would be as follows:

    add stacking interface stack 0/46

    or

    add stacking interface stack 0/47

It can be done from config mode or executive mode since they modify the stacking database and not the startup/running config.

The user-guide has these commands as well as the validated topologies.

    Best regards,
