How to turn off/on WebUI and Captive portal in MAS

Introduction : Knob to turn off/on WebUI and Captive portal in MAS

 

Feature Notes :

 

* There is a WebUI knob provided to disable or enable the Web UI of the switch. 
* WebUI knob is enabled by default.
* When knob is enabled the user can access the WebUI using the switch management IP.
* When the knob is disabled user can not access the WebUI. Ports 443 and 4343 should be effectively closed when WebUI is disabled.
 
* Captive Portal knob is provided to disable or enable the captive portal ports of the switch.
* Captive portal knob is enabled by default.
* When knob is enabled the access for user to upstream network are allowed after providing the login and authentication details.
* When the knob is disabled user can not access the upstream network.

 

 

Environment : This is applicable from OS 7.3.1.0 and above on Mobility access switches

 

Configuration Steps :

 

(Aruba) (config) #web-server
(Aruba) (Web Server Configuration) #?
captive-portal-ports    Enable or Disable Captive Portal Ports 8080/8081
mgmt-ui-ports           Enable or Disable Webserver
