While performing a "backup flash" on the Aruba Switches (Version 184.108.40.206 and above), sometimes we may see a message, "Warning! Some expected files are missing" as below.

Warning! Some expected files are missing. Please wait while we compress the tar file... File flashbackup.tar.gz created successfully on flash. Please copy it out of the switch and delete it when done.
This warning message is not harmful and does not affect the flash backup functionality.
The flash filesystem is a mix of static and dynamic files/folders.
"backup flash" command tars the following files and folders:
All the dynamic folders are created on a need basis as and when the respective functionality is enabled.
For (e.g.) Authentication - AAA profile & “no trusted port” configured on a GE port with CPPM downloadable roles would result in the creation of “/flash/role” folder. If AUTH is configured on the switch with CPPM role enabled, upon configuration & receiving a downloadable role the “/flash/role” folder will be created.
The “backup flash” command runs through the hardcoded list of files (both static & dynamic) for backup, the warning message we see on the CLI is a mere indication that the command could not backup few dynamic folders, because they don’t really exist in the system.
