    Hi,

We have problem our CPU load increase to 100% when we deploy our External Captive Portal with Radius and XML API.

We use XML API to authenticate and change the role of use and the Radius use for AAA.

How do we know in CLI what processes makes the CPU load comes to 100% ? Or is there any way to reduce the CPU load?

    Specs: Aruba 3400 Access Controller

    Current Authenticated User : 88/550

Bandwidth Speed allotted to AC: 40-50mbps

    BienJerico

did the issue happen only as a result of xml api, or did you bring up all the services at the same time ?

by the way, 6.2 is wayyyyyy unsupported - but the problem I suspect you are hitting is generic to all releases. Please collect

    show cpuload

    show cpuload current

do you see httpd chewing all the CPU (if not httpd, then what other process) ?

if it is httpd then this will be due to https, there are some workarounds for it - will advise after your confirmation.
