11n A2400 CONTROLLER

Hello,

my customer have a Aruba2400 controller, 30 AP-65 , 5 AP-80M, he want to migrate in  to 11n AP first and later migrate to 3400 controller, my doubt is if we use a new AP 11n capable with the 2400 controller it will work fine? or the 2400 controller is not capable to deliver the 11n?

Hi

:smileyhappy:

the 2400 isn't cert 802.11n controller,But it can run ArubaOS in version 5.X <- so u can start using your Aruba (N)AP - that supported by 5.X version.

what is your AP model?

(THE AP-68,THE AP-92/93/105/124/125/174 WILL WORK)

Re: 11n A2400 CONTROLLER

Yes they will work fine. (see the attached table i added to my first post)

Just be aware that the 2400 eth ports are 10/100 and not 10/100/1000 <-if u planning to give 300MbpsX2 with band sterring and a lot of clients on AP-105 , or on the AP-175 you should be aware to this port limit.
