    Does anyone ever deploy 200 units S2500 switch tunnel node to 1 unit of 7240 controller? The 7240 controller use SFP+ 10GB as a backbone connectivity.

     

    200 units S2500 switch will located at different building within campus.

     

    Is there have any performance issue?

    Also you should open a ticket with TAC to make sure you have the right AOS code for the switches and controller to support what you are trying to do

    Keep in mind that much of the functionality with tunneled-node can be replicated on the switch itself without tunneled-node (local packet processing).
