I´ve tried to look for the latest version of the Aruba visio stencils (both the one with the real model icons and the VRD icons) but I only find the old ones.

Hi

You can get the icons out of the VRD Aruba Mobile First Design. Copy paste the images.

Attached quick and dirty some Aruba icons you could use. Simply copy and paste.

It is in my schedule.

Is there a good resource for Omnigraffle stencils? The only ones I can find (on Graffletopia) are quite dated. 

You can import VSS stencils in to OmniGraffle. Make sure you're on the latest version as the import is much simpler.

Did HPE/Aruba ever actually release them onto the HPE website?

to my knowledge HP always released at visiocafe.

Not sure how Aruba did in the past.

Looks like today Aruba also releases at visiocafe.

But sadly Aruba Generic Shapes aren't real shapes. These are just bitmaps put into shapes.

No "connecting" points. Difficult to manipulate. Shape Outline different from Object outline. Transparent background for whole shape. Not possible to change object background wihtout changing background of whole shape....

The stencils looks good, but I'm missing the icons of the Mobility Master, Mobility Controller and related devices.
