    Hello all. We currently have a 3200 Mobility Controller in production, and are trying to determine what the difference in specs are between it and the 3200XM. From what I've been reading on the various datasheets out there, it appears as though the 3200XM has 1GB of RAM whereas the 3200 only has 512MB. However, it would be good to have confirmation of this as well as being aware of any other significant differences. If someone would be kind enough could clarify this, it would be appreciated.

    One of the biggest difference i would i say is that:

    3200 = no 6.2 Firmware unless you do ram upgrade

    3200mx = 6.2 firmware ready :)

    Thats why you see the diference in ram... its because it need it to run  6.2 version... and of course you should be needing it to run the newest 6.3 version coming, which is the only firmware that suppport ac APs

    Cheers

    Thanks; this is exactly why we're looking at doing the RAM upgrade.  Appreciate the response.

    We have a 3200 controller and we purchased a memory module from Aruba in order to upgrade the RAM so that I can install 6.2 on it.

    The memory module we received is a 1 Gb memory module.

    I do not think there is any more difference besides that.
