    Hi!

I´m having trouble finding out what channels are allowed in sweden for 5ghz. This link seems to indicate that UNII 3 channels are allowed outside http://www.nowire.se/kanaler-och-frekvenser-for-5-ghz/

(sorry its in swedish but I guess you get most of it).

But I´m having trouble finding official information for this. Is there any central Europe list of channels per country or such ? Would be awesome to know when deploying in other countries.

The main reason I´m asking right now is because I was troubleshooting a outdoor mesh of IAP-367 and no UNII 3 channels were listed! And the cluster was set to regulatory domain sweden.

This matches the AP-275 so it looks like there's no UNI3 support. It also appears that Sweeded follows the ETSI governing body for WiFi which prohibits the use of UNI3

I will ping our regulatory folks for confirmation though.

Ok, would be great if you could get that comfirmation.

Also as a sidenote to this:

From what I understand I cannot use 2,4ghz for mesh running instant ?

Can I setup mesh with 2,4ghz running controller based arubaos ?

So in discussing with PLM and our Regulatory Director, Sweden is currently part of ETSI which disallows UNI3. We would have to undertake separate Sweden-specific regulatory testing to enable UNI3, which is limited to 14dBm. We are going to be starting this over the next few months (this will not be a fast process), but the low power effectively limits UNI3 use to indoors, and close-range outdoor (little mesh useability due to the low power).

Right now, UNI3 is not allowed on our products in Sweden. Keep an eye out for release note updates if/when we add that support for UNI3.

    Hi.

I have a custommer that a made a software uppgrade at in Sweden

Result whith latest recomended software  (8.3.0.1_65474) is now that

    ARM use the unii-3 cannels!

Thats not a good option in my VoIP network because the power is less than the unii-1 and unii-2 band.

I can not set valid chanels or make any changes in RF/ARM in Central

    that is another problem....

From 1 November 2018, we can use UNII-3 frequencies in Sweden indoors without DFS with a maximum output of 25mw (14dbm) EIRP.
