7024 upgrade to 8.0.1.0

Hi there, a question in order to upgrade to 8.0.1.0 arubaOS.

Can we restore a config (from current 6.4.3 version) into aurbaOS 8.0.10? Or shoul dit be cionfigured from scratch after an upgrade?

What are advantages of 8.0.1.0 above 6.5.x?

And how to upgrade best way?

Hi,

There's an AOS 8 migration guide. This should answer a few of your questions.

Cheers
James

Honestly,

You should start from scratch to see how things are different.   The link here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS/8.x/Default.htm#ReleaseNotes/Features/Features8.0.x.htm#Features

...details what is different.

Please read the release notes carefully, because a VM is required for full functionality.
