was wondering if anyone is running this? only n supporting clients would work of course. are the other issues to consider? or is this just not possible?

Curious... what are you trying to achieve with this configuration ?

mainly trying to get rid of all of the old stuff. no low speed devices which cause troubles for the rest.

everything should be current and support n, so why no turn off the old stuff.

One reason you would not do this, is that some N clients do not like to connect when they only see legacy rates.

You would have to test all of your possible clients to ensure they work.

but when only doing n i would expect to not use the legacy rates.

i do agree it would require testing every, not a fun outlook :(

how would i got about it, tweak the Advanced SSID profile?

Why you would NOT do this:

    - You could go in the advanced SSID profile and remove all of the rates, but most 802.11n clients expect to see legacy rates and will not connect reliably or not connect at all.

    - Just the presence of legacy clients will still degrade your traffic.

thanks cjospeh, ill keep it a normal a/b/g/n network for now. perhaps if time permits ill do some more research.
