I have confirmed that my 'default' configuration of 802.11r that worked find on Aruba OS 6.5.X is not working for iOS devices on 8.1.0.1.

The symptom is that all iOS devices (ipads + iphones) usually get disconnected from the wifi network (multiple SSIDs tested - 802.11X w/Radius and a WPA2 P) when moving between APs and need to have their wifi disabled and re-enabled within iOS for them to reconnect.

After disabling 802.11r this behavior stopped on 8.1. Is there a known issue with 802.11r and iOS devices in 8.1 or is there a configuration tweak necessary when going from 6.5 to 8.1?

    I have a mix of 315s, 305s, 225s, and 205s; The Controller is a 7205.

Do you already have a case open that we can flag? If not, please open a case so that the particulars of your configuration, setup and your specific situation replicated. That we can know if just 802.11r is the issue or a combination of your equipment, configuration, setup and 802.11r is to blame.
