ADP multicast address

Some Aruba documentation says that  ADP uses 224.0.82.11, other documentation says that the address used is 239.0.82.11 - which address is the coirrect one?

Re: ADP multicast address

Where do you see it one way and where do you see it with the other?

Re: ADP multicast address

The advanced troubleshooting course says 239 but an older AOS user guide says 224.

Re: ADP multicast address

I would look at the most up-to-date AOS guide, because over time, there are corrections, of course.  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_63_Web_Help/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/AP_Config/Deploying_APs.htm

Re: ADP multicast address

From a support point of view I could encounter controllers running any code version - Is the correct address the 224 or 239 or have they both been in use over different code versions?

Re: ADP multicast address

It is 239.0.82.11 currently.  I cannot speak to the history.
