AOS - Guest Provisioning - Google Chrome printing not possible

    Hi,

     

    a customer just called me and told me that he isn't able to print guest user receipts which are created on AOS.

    After creation of the user, Chrome shows an empty page. 

    I tried it myself on our controller, but I'm having the same problems.

     

    Versions:

    Chrome: 46.x

    ArubaOS: 6.4.2.3, 6.4.4.1, 6.4.3.1

     

    Firefox is working. On IE I can't even open the WebGUI because there are several JavaScript errors.

     

    Release Notes aren't showing any issues.

    Anyone else with similar issues? Ideas?

    Are you blocking any ports in the user role?

    @cjoseph:

    The problem is the administration page for guest users, not the CaptivePortal.

     

    As a admin or guest provisioning user, I can't print the guest receipts on Chrome.

    https://aruba-master:4343/screens/switch/gpp.html -> New -> Save & Print. Chrome wants to print an empty page here.

     

    On IE8 I can't even open the WebGUI. IE11 and Firefox is working.

    I apologize.  You are right.  The print function does not seem to be working on 6.4.4.1 and Chrome 46.  Let me open a TAC case.

    Sounds good. But I tested it on the following versions: 6.4.2.3 ,  6.4.4.1 ,  6.4.3.1.

    All these aren't working for me.

    We do not have many customers that use that function, so it might not have been reported.

    Just for information: The problem occurs on three different 7010 controllers with three different versions (mixed Dell-OEM or Aruba).

    Right know I can't test any other controller. Maybe it's only a problem for the 7000 series controllers.

    i'm having the same issue. 

    when i'm printing, just came to me a empty page, with no information. 

     

    is this problem fixed?

    It is not known at this time.  I will report back when I know anything definitive.

    Hi,
    I got a call from TAC today. It seems to be a bug in 6.4.x.
    Engineering is already fixing for a new release.

    just a observation, in internet explorer version 9, we don't have this problem, only in google chrome. 

    i'll wait for the realse, cause out defaut brownser is Google Chrome.

    All,

     

    I just got a call from TAC.

    They observed the issue and reported it to the Engineering Team.

     

    The issue will be fixed in 6.4.4.3.
