[AOS8-MC] Admin password recovery and Factory default.

    Hi Everyone,

     

    I have an issue with admin password recovery in AOS8.

    When i don't know password of MC, I just try to chage it.

     

    CLI

    User: password

    Pass: forgetme!

     

    "Try to config mode"

    (Aruba7005) *#configuer terminal

    This controller is manage by a MM.

    Configuration change can only be performed on the MM.

     

    "Try to wri erese all"

    (Aruba7005) *#write erese all
    yes

    You do not have permission to execute this command.

     

    Help me factory default my 7005 with aos8 please.

    Since the controller is managed by a mobility manager currently, you'll need to jump to disaster recovery mode on that controller to enable to local config changes:

    I can't use disaster-recovery on command. 

    Because don't have permission execute this command.

    You need to log in to the MD to execute the hidden command "local-config enable", and then execute the command mgmt-user admin root.

    Need to go into disaster recovery mode
    (BOSTON-MC-1) #disaster-recovery
    off Disable Disaster Recovery Mode
    on Enable Disaster Recovery Mode
    And then change the password
