We have 40 AP 105s and a 3400 controller. Out of those 40 we originally had 5 setup as a demo and used static IP addressing and now that I want to swap them to DHCP like the rest it wont fully take.
In the controller GUI I go to Configuration>Wireless> AP Installation select the AP and click provision. Once there I scroll down to IP Settings and select Optain IP Address Using DHCP, it clears all the static info, I click Apply and Reboot and it reboots.
When it comes back online the AP does get a DHCP address but the radio button for DHCP is cleared and Use the following IP address is selected again and all the fields are blank except for Subnet Mask and Domain Name which have repopulated to the previous values.
All of the rest of the configs for the APs are the same as the other ones that do work with DHCP properly.
It does this for all 5 of them. What can I do to get them to comply and switch to DHCP?
Thanks,
Jeff
