    Posted Jul 04, 2014 02:37 PM

Sorry, I'm new to this and having an issue setting up AP-105 wireless access points.

I have set a vlan for the 800 controller and can get to the controller configuration interface. The AP's boot and get an IP address and see the controlller via ADP but do not show up in the Controller interface. I'm probably missing something simple. Any assistance would be appriciated.

Please post the console output from the AP when you are booting it up.

Is 192.168.1.99 the Controller?  Type "show ap database" on the controller commandline to see the status of that AP.  Also, type "show log system 50" to see if you see anything about that AP...

    That's your problem:

    LMS IP 10.2.112.96

     Do this:

    config t
    ap system-profile M3
    no lms-ip

The AP system profile is redirecting your access points to 10.2.112.96.  Zeroing it out will allow your access points to come up.

Is there a way of changing this from the web interface.? I have entered the command and got no errors but the show ap system-profile M3 command still shows the wrong ip address.

What errors? Do you have two controllers? It would have to be changed on the master controller.

Josheph, Thanks so much for your help. It's pointed me in the right direction. I Deleted references to system profile M3 in profile management in the web interface. My access points then appeared in the web interface.
