The AP 125's we have randomly reboot on us. They have 1622345 input errors and 309883 CRC's on the switch ports. We are using OS 5.0.2.1. Has anyone seen this before?

Hey mjones - Sorry to hear :(

Were you able to open a support case with TAC?

Which ArubaOS version you are running on the controllers?

Hopefully those switch ports do not have a static duplex and speed......

There are several known issues that result in random reboots on APs.

For us, the problem was fixed when we went 5.0.3.1

The reboot reason we saw was an Out of Memory error.

TAC can help you better isolate this. For us it was primarily AP-125 doing this.

The ports are set to Auto negotiate.

I am running 5.0.2.1, sounds like I need to upgrade.

    Thanks for all the reply's.

Are you sure there's not a cableling problem between the switch and the AP-125?

do this command for your AP. it will show you the reboot reason.

    Aruba)#show ap debug system-status ap-name <name of the AP>

I had been having similar issues with my AP125s. This appears to have been resolved by an upgrade from 3.3.something to 6.1.2.3. (Fingers crossed)

That command you posted is very useful - thanks!

did the up-grade to 6.1.2.3 stop the 125s from rebooting?

We have been suffering through "out of memory" reboot issue for several months in specific locations w/ AP125s on 6.1.2.x

Thanks for that answer.  You might want to contact support to see if there is any movement on your particular issue.
