AP 175 Point to Point (PTP)

All,

We are looking to link a building with a PTP deployment..The building is about a quarter of a mile away and has fantastic line of sight.

My question is what would the through put be using an AP 175?

How reliable would the link be?

Has anybody else done this and what was their experiance once they had it up and going?

Re: AP 175 Point to Point (PTP)

It depends on the distance.  Aruba has an outdoor planner where you predict fairly well what the coverage will be using the AP175s and different types of antennas.  It overlays with Google Maps so it's great for outdoors.  I've done this for several customers and it works great, both in pre-plan and production.

You may want to check with your local Aruba support team for additional assistance if needed.
