    Hello

I was reading the data sheet i know the AP 225 is poe+

But let say im not using the USB and im just just one port of the AP

I read on the datasheet this

Worst-case power consumption from the AP (excluding power drawn by an attached USB device):

    - In restricted mode (PoE): 13.5W

    - In unrestricted mode (PoE): 17W

    - In unrestricted mode (DC): 15.5W

Does this mean that the AP 225 will use all his streams 3x3 in 2.4ghz and 5ghz  17 W?  i mean the AP wont go in conservative mode in which  you will see the PWR led going orage which means that its using1×3:1SS mode  ?

    Now fallowing that logic

I would need a switch with poe budget of 408W if i needed  to turn in all ports APS 225 without any restrictions  i mean 5ghz and 2.4ghz radios operating without restrictions

Did i undesrtand it correctly? or did i misunderstand?

    Cheers

    Carlos

Nice Collin thats good to know that i only need a switch of 400W to power up at least 23 APS 225 without any restrictions! :)

I  just wanted to be sure because if i needed 30W for each AP i would need then 690W and that swtich cost a lot more...

    This will help a lot

Thank you man!!!! for being always here :)

    Cheers
